Mabey Scandinavia AB is the Swedish subsidiary of the Mabey Group of Companies. The company covers the market of Scandinavia and the Baltic Region but is also involved in Export sales throughout the World, independently or in co-operation with the UK based sister company Mabey & Johnson Ltd.

Mabey Scandinavia is a supplier of bridging systems for projects, emergency preparedness to road authorities, and disaster relief missions as well as for rural development.

Following a Group strategy decision Mabey Scandinavia started Swedish manufacture of bridge components in October 2003. Significant investments have since been made in robot welding technology.

Based on customer requirements and the Mabey Group's commitment to quality, Mabey Scandinavia has since production started, worked towards certification to EN ISO 3834 Quality Requirements for Fusion Welding of Metallic Materials, Part 2, Comprehensive Quality Requirements. The company was successfully audited by TWI Certification Ltd and was presented with the certificate at a ceremony at TWI recently. The certification scheme operated by TWI, the Welder Fabricator Certification Scheme, is accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) and the European Welding Federation (EWF).
